Colleen:  "I enjoyed the trip to Las Delicias with the church group because, well, they were fun and because I had a time to show others my Christian life, and I got to help people come to Jesus.  Another reason I liked it is because I got to serve Jesus in many ways.

 

Sean:  "I enjoyed this trip because it reminded me of the ministry we had in Paraguay and because of the way the people lived and the environment in which they lived.  (Yes, I miss Paraguay.)  I also enjoyed it because I had the chance to translate for a large group of gringos (Americans), which included sharing the gospel with a few ticos (Costa Ricans).  I enjoyed the fauna, as well."

 

Katy ("Kt"):  "This trip was a blessing--to everyone that we ministered to.  The group from the states were a bunch of talented, young teenagers who knew what they were here for and they did it -- glorifying God 24/7.  I learned from them and I got to be there first hand and be part of their ministries.  I got to  help teach the kids lessons, and share in the salvation prayer, and share time with them."

During a 2006 ministry trip that one of our supporting churches undertook here in Costa Rica, the Reilly kids had several opportunities to participate in ministry.  Much of this was through translation work in Sunday school and vacation Bible school lessons.  Katy, Colleen, and Sean had opportunities to pray with young people wanting to make decisions to take Christ as their personal Savior.  (See personal statements in left-hand sidebar)
