Guanacaste Day at Sojourn

July 25 celebrates the annexation of the Guanacaste province from Nicaragua in 1821.  Customary celebrations include fiestas, fok dances, horse parades, cattle shows, bull fights and concerts.  Pictured below are exhibitions of the folkdances performed by the Institute teachers and students and by Sojourn students.  DOUBLE CLICK ON PHOTOS FOR ENLARGEMENTS.
